$55.00 Rising Star Solo
In order to choose the correct level for your competitor(s)/dancer(s), be sure to assess the skill level of the routine, the years the dancers have competed and/or the total hours the dancers take class weekly. It is up to the studio owner, choreographer or dance teacher to place their dancers in the appropriate level.
Please note:
Competitors can level up. What this means is that a dancer as a beginner they can compete as a beginner AND can test if they can compete against intermediate level competitors. This is the same with intermediate & advanced, advanced & rising star...
IF a competitor has competed in beginner & intermediate and has WON in the intermediate level they should then be competing as an intermediate dancer from then on.
COMPETITORS should not be picking and choosing at which competitions they want to compete at different levels as this is considered cheating.
Also note:
Competitors who may teach, do not make the majority of their income from dancing (performing or teaching) or may dance in a professional TEAM may compete in Rising Star (this category is a semi professional level category).
